Hernando crash leaves one woman dead

A 40-year-old woman died in a single-car accident this morning in Hernando County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Anne Hennessy of Spring Hill was driving south on Mariner Boulevard when her 2001 Ford pick-up truck veered into the grass median about 8:40 a.m., the FHP said.
The truck hit two trees, then crossed the northbound lanes and hit another tree on the east shoulder of the road, the accident report said.
Hennessy was not wearing a seatbelt, the FHP said. No charges will be filed.
