Jackson Browne to play Ruth Eckerd Hall

CLEARWATER - Singer-songwriter Jackson Browne will perform at Ruth Eckerd Hall on Nov. 20, according to a press release from the venue.

Browne's most recent album, "Time the Conqueror," was released in 2008. He's best known for '70s hits such as "Doctor My Eyes," "The Pretender" and "Running on Empty." Since the '80s, he has devoted much of his time to political activism and humanitarian efforts.

Tickets, $39.40, $49.50, $54.50 and $64.50, go on sale at noon Friday at the box office, 1111 McMullen-Booth Road in Clearwater. Call (727) 791-7400.
