HUDSON - A 30-year-old Hudson man is accused of throwing a 12-year-old boy against a wall.
Joseph David Mulrooney of 9315 Bolton Ave. and the boy were arguing, a Pasco County sheriff's report states. When the boy started walking away, Mulrooney chased him, grabbed him by the neck and chest, and threw him, the report says.
The boy's chest was scratched. Mulrooney told deputies he scratched the boy by accident because his nails were too long, according to the report.
Mulrooney was arrested Tuesday on a felony charge of child abuse. He was being held Wednesday at Land O' Lakes Jail. Bail was set at $5,000.
