St. Petersburg bicyclist critically injured in fall

ST. PETERSBURG - A 32-year-old St. Petersburg man was in critical condition today after his bicycle hit a curb and he fell off it, the Florida Highway Patrol reported.
Dustin Dockery was in critical condition at Bayfront Medical Center, the patrol reported.
At 4:30 a.m. Dockery was riding his bicycle north on 49th Street, in the left turn lane, as he approached Carrier Street, the patrol said. His front tire collided with a raised curb, and Dockery was thrown from the bicycle, the patrol said.
Dockery was not wearing a helmet.
