WESLEY CHAPEL - Freshman Janarion Grant scored nearly every way possible.
The 5-foot-10 running back had two touchdown runs, a receiving touchdown and a kickoff return as Pasco stomped on Wesley Chapel.
"He's football fast and football smart," Pirates coach Tom McHugh said. "When you give him the ball he runs hard. He's going to be quite the football player."
Pasco (2-1) built a a 31-0 lead thanks to a 9-yard run by Grant and a 52-yard screen pass. Jamie Byrd returned a fumble 25 yards for a score, then Grant ran in a 10-yard score and kicker Brennan Allen hit a 50-yard field goal before the Wildcats (1-2) even got into Pasco territory.
Wesley Chapel's lone score was a 1-yard run by fullback Chris Pierre-Charles, who led the team in rushing with 99 yards on 24 carries.
Grant scored his final touchdown of the game on the opening kickoff of the second half, going 82 yards for his fourth kickoff return TD of the season. Pasco's Gus McGlaughlin returned a late interception 71 yards, which was one of five Wildcats turnovers, while quarterback D.J. Clower went 9-for-16 for 142 yards.
