TAMPA - Spoto shut down Blake on the Yellow Jackets' opening possession and the Spartans went on to score on their opening drive, setting the tone for their eventual victory.
Spartans running back Jamar Burns scored the first points of the game on a 5-yard touchdown run. Spoto scored again right before halftime, this time on a touchdown on a 19-yard run by Charles Waits.
In the third quarter, Spoto scored on Danny Taylor's 4-yard run. After a missed point-after, the lead was 20-0.
Spoto opened the fourth quarter by scoring on a long drive that was capped by a 5-yard pass from quarterback Dominic Addison to Tyron Baker.
Tacking on a touchdown in the closing minutes, Spartans running back Geron Furlongue scored from 4 yards out.
The Spartans' rushing attack amassed 251 yards for the game.
Blake's best opportunity to score came on its opening third-quarter drive. However, the Yellow Jackets eventually ended up turning the ball over on downs.
