A Tampa woman has made it past the first round of 'The Bachelor.'

Erin Gardner, 25, was one of 15 single women who got a rose Monday night from Brad Womack, the 'sexiest bachelor ever' on the ABC reality series.

Womack, 34, a bar owner from Austin, Texas, sent 10 women home. Gardner, a publishing sales executive, appeared to get some attention from Womack on the first episode.

She told him about a sports injury that 'broke her face.' She made enough of a favorable impression to continue through the next episode.

Other women went to great lengths to get his attention. One put on a bikini and jumped in a pool. Another serenaded him and gave him a rose. Another did a sexy dance. Another showed off her webbed toes.

Womack gave his 'first impression rose' to Jenni, a former cheerleader for the Miami Heat and the Dallas Cowboys, now with the Phoenix Suns.

Womack said he is looking for a wife, someone who is attractive, athletic and down-to-earth. Gardner can't talk to the media until she is voted off or wins the affections of Womack.

'Hannah' Star Pregnancy Rumors False

Miley Cyrus may hide her secret identity on 'Hannah Montana,' but she's not hiding a pregnancy, despite the rumors.

The 14-year-old Disney Channel and recording star denies rumors she's carrying a baby, a story that began when the Web site for teen zine J-14 posted a false quote attributed to the actress.

'The story is a complete fabrication. Someone mocked up a fake J-14 article,' Cyrus' rep tells TMZ.com.

J-14 posted the following statement on their site:

'Despite Internet rumors, J-14 NEVER reported that Miley Cyrus was pregnant. Someone doctored the 'This Just In' article that appeared on page 16 of J-14's July 2007 issue.'

Hudson Films For Glamour

Kate Hudson went behind the camera for 'Cutlass,' one of Glamour magazine's 'Reel Moments' short films based on readers' personal essays.

The goal of the competition, now in its third year, is to empower women by producing female-friendly short films and creating opportunities for actresses to direct.

The magazine narrowed down readers' submissions and asked Hudson, Kirsten Dunst and Rita Wilson to choose their favorites.

Hudson, 28, selected 'Cutlass,' a generational tale about family and tradition. The short film co-stars Kurt Russell, Dakota Fanning, Virginia Madsen, Chevy Chase and Kristen Stewart.
