Sharon Taylor, co-host of "AM Tampa Bay" on WFLA, 970 AM, is no longer a part of the morning show.
Station owners Clear Channel Communications did not renew her contract.
Taylor, who also is a singer, has been part of popular morning crew with Jack Harris and Tedd Webb for 10 years.
She said she does not know why her contract wasn't renewed and is looking for a job.
"Anyone who works in this business, whether it's radio, TV or newspapers, knows it's difficult," Taylor said. "I had a great run."
In April, Clear Channel experienced a round of layoffs and longtime area radio personality Skip Mahaffey and his crew were let go.
"I knew that my contact was coming up for an end," she said. "I'm OK with it. I'm not bitter. There's nothing I have against the company. I didn't want anyone listening to know so I did the best job I could until the end."
Clear Channel executives could not be reached for comment.
