Chris Botti, Boney James and the Neville Brothers are the headliners for the 30th annual the Clearwater Jazz Holiday in concert October, officials announced today.
The free event draws tens of thousands of visitors to Clearwater during the third weekend in October at the city's 20-acre Coachman Park.
Also scheduled to perform this year: Belinda Womack, Tom Brantley Collective, Mike MacArthur & Nate Najar, The Organic Trio, Joe Baione Quartet, Nicole Henry, Gumbi Ortiz and the Latino Projekt.
Also performing are Les Sabler, Linda Nash, Larry Camp, David Pate, Fred Johnson, Michael Ross, On Que Players featuring Al Chisolm and Velvet, Jose Valentino Ruiz, Theo Valentin, Suzette Jennings, Karen Benjey, Pepper, Kenny Loomer, Allon Sams, Dan McMillion, BK Jackson, Kenny Drew, Jr, Brian Bromberg, Dick Rivers, Billy Norris, Kenny Trent, Jim Knoll, Pat Hatt, Pat Close, the Ruth Eckerd Hall/Clearwater Jazz Holiday Youth Jazz Band, Marcus Roberts Trio, and the "It is what it is" Band.
A collaboration of the Clearwater Jazz Holiday Foundation, the city of Clearwater and the Clearwater Jazz Holiday Jazz Force, this year's celebration includes smooth jazz, rhythm and blues, fusion, Latin and local bands.
