Springsteen to play Ford Amp in Tampa on Sept. 12

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band began 2009's live dates in Tampa at the Super Bowl. They return Sept. 12 for a show at the Ford Amphitheatre.

Tickets are $36, $55 and $98, and go on sale July 24 according to Springsteen's publicity firm, Shore Fire.

The band is touring behind Springsteen's latest release, "Working on a Dream." Last month, the band appeared at the Bonnaroo festival in Manchester, Tenn., as well as the England's Glastonbury festival, where it played to 135,000 people.

The band's only other Florida date is Sept. 13 at Fort Lauderdale's Bank Atlantic Center. Tickets for that show also go on sale July 24.
