Tampa is one of a handful of Eastern U.S. cities Pearl Jam is hitting on a brief outing. There’s no new album to support, but plenty to play with a catalog stretching from 1991’s “Ten” to 2006’s eponymous disc. Highly-touted Tennessee quartet Kings of Leon will open June 12 at the Forum.
PEARL JAM has struck a new deal with Verizon Wireless' V Cast service, according to published reports. The deal involves the service selling select Pearl Jam tracks from their long-running authorized live bootleg series. Three tracks from each show on this leg of the tour, except for the band's performance at the Bonnaroo Festival, will immediately be available to Verizon users via V Cast and PearlJamConcerts.com - two for purchase and the third as a free mobile download.
All V Cast tracks will be "dual downloads," meaning that once purchased, they are sent to both the user's computer and mobile phone.
