2008-2009 Opera Tampa Chorus Auditions
Opera Tampa is looking for men and women for the 2008-2009 Opera Tampa Chorus for the productions of The Barber of Seville (Dec. 5 and 7, 2008) and Faust (April 17 and 19, 2009). Chorus/Choir experience is welcome, but not as necessary as a good work attitude and commitment to rehearsals and memorization.
Auditionees should bring 16 bars of a favorite song (classical preferred) with the sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.
Regular rehearsals are generally Monday evenings 6:45–9:30 p.m.
Intense rehearsals with Maestro Anton Coppola begin 3 weeks before the performance dates and may be every evening during the week and at any time on the weekend.
