For generations, people have argued about where to find the best Cuban sandwich in Ybor City. Southern Living magazine has entered the fray.
In its October issue, the magazine says Seventh Avenue restaurants La Tropicana Café, Gaspar's Grotto and The Columbia have the best sandwiches in Ybor. (It also named The Columbia the best Spanish restaurant in the Ybor district).
Restaurants Bernini and La Terrazza are declared the best Italian food spots and La Segunda Central is mentioned as the best Old World-style bakery.
The Ybor City issue of magazine, which is newly redesigned, went on sale Tuesday.
