SAFE SITTERS: Morton Plant Mease Health Care and the Safe Sitter Organization will offer a babysitter training course for young babysitters (at least age 11) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Sarah Walker Women's Center on the campus of Morton Plant Hospital, 300 Pinellas St., Clearwater. Topics include handling choking, behavior management and contacting EMS. Bring lunch and a drink. Cost is $50. CANCER SCREENING TRAINING: Moffitt Cancer Center's diversity program, Moffitt Program for Outreach Wellness Education & Resources, in conjunction with the Florida Department of Health, will present a free breast and cervical cancer screening training program for community representatives from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 24 at the Orlando-Orange County Health Department, Office of Community Health, 6101 Lake Ellenor Drive, Orlando. The teaching tools are designed to be used by health educators, nurses and social workers. Registration deadline is Friday.
