The pitch: "Contains botanical cypress extract and eucalyptus extract, which is known for its soothing skin benefits."
The skinny: I'm always a bit nervous when trying Vaseline products. I don't know if it's because they never seem to work out for me or if it's because the name just looks too much like gasoline. (Maybe it's that whole petroleum ingredient thing).
But I like the consistency of this lotion and the way it goes onto the skin. It's silky and smooth without being greasy - although it does leave a thin coating on the top layer of the skin. That coating washes off easily, so you'll want to reapply it each time you wash your hands.
The lotion is available in three scents: Botanical Blend, Vitamin Burst, and Mineral Renewal. I wasn't the biggest fan of the Botanical Blend. I tend to love earthy scents, like those found in Aveda products. This was a little too much like baby lotion for my taste.
I'd rather pay more money for a body lotion that works well all the way around and pleases my senses.
