A 20-year-old woman was arrested by police Wednesday, accused of animal cruelty.
Police say Jessica Williams, of 38101 Countryside Place, was living at the home with her Chihuahua-terrier mix without running water or electricity. The dog was left in the house to urinate and defecate, a report states, and suffered from malnutrition.
Dog feces were reported throughout the home and the dog had mange, according to the report.
The dog was taken to Pasco County Animal Control for emergency treatment, according to police.
Williams was released from the Land O' Lakes Jail later Wednesday after posting $5,000 bail.
She couldn't be reached for comment Thursday.
