U.S. 41 just north of Adamo Drive will be closed for three weeks starting Friday to allow CSX Inc. to repair a railroad crossing.
The time of the closing is set for 5:30 a.m. The road won't reopen for an estimated three weeks.
Workers will remove and replace the tracks between Seventh Avenue and Uceta Road, about a half-mile north of Adamo.
"After they put in the track we'll come in and put in new paving," Department of Transportation spokeswoman Kris Carson said.
The work follows recent repairs at crossings elsewhere on U.S. 41, including the Palm River area.
