Owners of a car wash featuring women dressed in skimpy swimwear say business has been good since they opened a few weeks ago on U.S. 301.
It's hard to miss the Naughty But Nice Car Wash - thanks to its roadside marketing.
When they aren't washing vehicles, employees spend time by the highway - often in bikinis - trying to entice more customers to stop in.
The business is co-owned by Autumn Jones, a former stripper who said she wanted to leave dancing behind. She said most customers are men who are attracted by the women's work attire.
"We know we're selling sex (appeal) and, of course, that sells, but we do a good job."
Jones and two other women regularly work at the business, which has no set hours but is generally open from late morning to early evening. The other employees also formerly worked in adult clubs.
Customers pay $10 for the car wash, and the women work on tips.
Hillsborough County sheriff's spokesman J.D. Callaway said he could find no complaints on file about the car wash, located less than a mile south of the Florida State Fairgrounds.
Brandon resident Victor Perez, who owns the business with Jones, said he makes sure customers behave.
Jones, 30, said at the request of authorities the owners slightly altered the word "but" in the name of the business, which was formerly known as the Naughty Butt Nice Car Wash.
Regular customers Randy and Renita Calhoun of Riverview bring their Ford Explorer on a near weekly basis.
"This view here is much better than any other car washes," Randy said, "but the car is always washed well and professionally."
