LAKELAND - Polk County sheriff's deputies hope somebody will recognize the man in this picture.

They say he stole nine gift cards from Circle K convenience stores in north Lakeland between July 7 and Aug. 5.
The suspect enters the store, asks the cashier to activate the cards, and then tells the clerk that he wants to confirm they are activated, or needs to get more money, and walks away, sheriff's spokeswoman Donna Wood said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Polk County Sheriff's Office at (863) 577-1600 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS.
