The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a crash on Friday that killed a 56-year-old pedestrian.
Christy William Lizzoli Jr., of 1893 South Shore Drive, Apartment 101, South Pasadena, died at Bayfront Medical Center about 7:47 p.m. Friday, officials said.
Lizzoli was crossing South Shore Drive at the crosswalk about 6:04 p.m. Lizzoli was hit by a southbound 1999 Cadillac DeVille, the sheriff's office said.
No charges have been filed against the driver, Renata Rathmann, 85, who lives on South Shore Drive less than a quarter-mile from where the crash occurred, the sheriff's office said.
Officials said alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
