Florida State University football players were involved in a campus fight Wednesday that is under investigation by campus police.
Coach Bobby Bowden would not identify the players or specify how many were involved.
"The incident today, I really have no comment on it," Bowden said Wednesday "The police will look into and let us know what they think. That's all I have to say about that."
Major Jim Russell of the FSU Police Department said that at 12:37 p.m. officers from the department arrived to investigate what he described as a large brawl.
"Persons involved in the fight are alleged to be some members of the FSU football team and members of the Phi Beta Sigma fraternity," Russell said in an e-mail to the Tallahassee Democrat.
Several sources have put the number of FSU football players involved at four.
No arrests have been made Wednesday night.
