Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early this morning at 1364 Friend Ave.
Police responded to the address just before 5 a.m. to find a man dead at the rear of the house. A police spokeswoman declined to identify the man because his family had not been notified.
She said preliminary details indicate the man knew his attacker.
The suspect entered the victim's home and confronted him before running to a vehicle that was waiting for him on Missouri Avenue, police said. The suspect's vehicle was believed to be a dark, newer model pickup, possibly a Dodge Ram, with extended cab and chrome rails on the bed, police said.
