Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Biden will host a town hall meeting on women's economic security on Wednesday in Sarasota.
The meeting will be at Booker High School, 3201 N. Orange Ave. Doors will open at 3 p.m.
Tickets for the event are being distributed until 9 p.m. today at the Sarasota Campaign for Change office, 1343 Main St., Suite 200, Sarasota.
At this event, as with Obama's events today, the campaign will accept canned and nonperishable food, bottled water and first-aid supplies for families affected by Hurricane Gustav and Tropical Storm Fay.
