Tarpon Springs Man With Dementia Reported Missing

Tarpon Springs police are asking for the public's help in finding a 71-year-old man who was last seen at his apartment about 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Thomas T. Varghese suffers from dementia and requires daily medication, police said. Varghese wandered from his apartment on foot, police said.

Varghese, of Indian descent, is 5 feet 8 inches tall, about 160 pounds with dark-colored hair, brown eyes and wears eyeglasses. He was last seen wearing a gray-colored T-shirt with white stripes, burgundy shorts and flip-flops.

He lives at the Tarponwood apartment complex, 715 E. Lime St., Tarpon Springs. Anyone with information on Varghese should call the Pinellas County central dispatch and communications center at (727) 298-5284 or a local law enforcement agency.
