A man is in critical condition at Tampa General Hospital after he was hit by a car while walking near N. 22nd St.
The unidentified man was hit at about 6 a.m. at the intersection of N. 22nd and E. 14th Avenue. The car's driver, 22-year-old Marquis Dixon of Tampa, was not injured.
The pedestrian was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition with severe head trauma.
