Dunedin man ID'd as victim in fatal wreck

OLDSMAR --

The man killed in a one-car wreck Monday night has been identified as John J. Mrozinski, 51, of Dunedin, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies say Mrozinski was traveling westbound on State Road 580 in Oldsmar about 8:15 p.m. when his 1989 Honda Accord veered off the highway and crashed into a concrete wall. The crash was reported by a witness.

Mrozinski was taken by ambulance to Mease Countryside Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Deputies say alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death. The investigation continues.
