The historic inauguration of Barack Obama will play out live on a movie screen in Ybor City on Tuesday.
Cable network MSNBC is offering its live coverage from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Movico Centro 20 Ybor on 1600 E. Eighth Avenue.
MSNBC has partnered with Screenvision for live viewings in select theaters in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Dallas, Boston, Washington, Houston, Detroit, Phoenix, Seattle, Denver, Orlando, St. Louis, San Diego, Hartford-New Haven, Conn., West Palm, Memphis, Louisville, Ky. and Providence, R.I.
Registration for the event is now open at www.MSNBCEvents.com. Admission is free but is on a first-come, first-serve basis and obtaining a ticket does not guarantee a seat.
MSNBC will telecast live from the National Mall in Washington as Obama is sworn in as the 44th president of the United States, with coverage led by Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, Rachel Maddow and Eugene Robinson, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
