Tony Dungy, who recently retired from football as head coach of the Indianapolis Colts, is headed to David Letterman's talk show on Thursday.
The former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach will talk about his decision to leave the game, according to CBS.
He also is scheduled to provide commentary during NBC's Super Bowl pre-game show on Sunday.
"The Late Show with David Letterman" airs at 11:35 p.m. on CBS.
Dungy's retirement comes after 31 years in the NFL, first as a player and later as a coach. Dungy led the Colts for seven seasons and helped take them to victory in Super Bowl XLI, becoming the first black coach to win a Super Bowl.
