A 70-year-old Florida man died Friday when the Isuzu Impulse he was driving was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer on U.S. 17, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Dennis J. Rory of Bowling Green was not wearing a seat belt when the wreck happened about 11:30 a.m., south of Bostick Road, the patrol said.
The driver of the 2002 Mack tractor, Margarito Reyna, 58, of Wauchula, was not injured.
The investigation continues.
