An airline captain for Southwest Airlines was arrested this morning at his St. Petersburg home after child porn images were found on his home computer, according to the Pinellas Sheriff's Office.
Daryl Neil Kampwerth, 45, was charged with 23 counts of sexual performance by a minor, according to the sheriff's office.
Kampwerth has been under investigation since November, when detectives received information that he had child porn images on his computer, the sheriff's office said. On Nov. 15, detectives served a search warrant at his home at 2124 Dolphin Blvd. S. in St. Petersburg, and confiscated his computers.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement analyzed the items seized and found images of child porn, the sheriff's office said.
