Looking for something to do this weekend? Why not try the Museum of Science & Industry Hurricane Expo.
The expo will be a family-friendly event featuring vendors, educational seminars and giveaways. The inaugural 2008 Tampa Bay Hurricane Expo attracted more than 3,000 visitors, 50 vendors, and prominent speakers such as Bill Proenza, former director of the national hurricane center, and Dan Noah of the National Weather Service.
MOSI wants to build on that success and would like you to come prepared with questions. The expo is a free event, and if you want to spend the rest of the day at the museum, MOSI is offering discounted admission.
