A bicyclist received life-threatening injuries this afternoon when he collided with a Buick on 90th Street.
Paul David Lynn, 65, of Clearwater was riding his bike on the sidewalk on Park Boulevard at about 3:40 p.m.. When he reached 90th Street, he began to bike across when he collided with a 1999 Buick sedan driven by 64-year-old David Gentner of St. Petersburg, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.
Lynn was taken to Bayfront Hospital, where he remained this evening with life-threatening injuries.
The sheriff's office said Gentner had stopped at the stop sign before pulling onto Park Boulevard.
The investigation is ongoing.
