A vigil has been scheduled for 6 p.m. Sunday in Plant City for Sarah Rodriguez, a 19-year-old Wesley Chapel woman who was killed Nov. 21 in a collision between her pickup truck and a sports utility vehicle in Hillsborough County.
The vigil will be held at the polo field at the Walden Lake subdivision off West Timberlane Drive.
Larry Hampton II, 41, of Dade City was driving north on U.S. 301 near Ranch Road when his 2002 Chevrolet Suburban crossed into the southbound lanes about 4:30 p.m. Saturday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Hampton's vehicle ran head on into the 2001 Dodge Ram carrying Rodriguez and driven by Andre Pray, 21, also of Wesley Chapel. After the collision, the pickup spun off the pavement and flipped, the FHP said.
