A Tampa woman let her 14-year-old daughter use marijuana and a bong during a weekend visit, Hillsborough County deputies say.
The teenager came to her father's home Sept. 14, and, suspicious, he took her to the hospital for a drug test. The girl tested positive for having smoked marijuana, a report states.
The girl's mother, 35-year-old Delta Renee Tanner, later told deputies that she gave her daughter marijuana and the bong to use, according to the report. Tanner offered to show a deputy marijuana and the bong, which she had in her bedroom. Tanner got up from her kitchen table, went to her bedroom and got out the marijuana and a blue bong.
Deputies arrested Tanner at 2:15 p.m. today.
She was charged with child neglect, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Her bail is set at $3,000.
