Pasco sheriff's deputies say they had to use a Taser on a 21-year-old man after he started punching them when they tried to search his home.
Bond was set at $36,500 for Sean Everett Swartz, 12457 Killian St., who was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, resisting arrest and five counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Deputies went to Swartz's home at about 8:35 a.m. to serve a search warrant. They said they found him in a back bedroom and that he tried to hide under the covers, then started kicking and punching when they tried to remove him.
A search of the bedroom turned up a loaded .357-caliber revolver, a loaded .22-caliber rifle, 100 pain killers including oxycodone and methadone and 5.8 grams of marijuana, the sheriff's office said.
