Four people, including a woman who was trapped for a time in a wrecked vehicle, were injured in a three-vehicle crash in Clearwater this afternoon.
One of the vehicles slammed into a locksmith business on the corner of Lakeview Road and Missouri Avenue South, police said.
Police said the crash was the result of one of the drivers suffering a medical condition. The driver, whose name was not released, was headed west on Lakeview when she hit two vehicles, then the building.
None of the four people, including all three drivers and a passenger in the vehicle that hit the building, suffered life-threatening injuries, police said. Late this afternoon, workers were shoring up the building so it wouldn't collapse.
Traffic was flowing in all directions of the intersection by late afternoon, except one southbound lane of Missouri Avenue, which remained blocked.
