A former X-ray technician has been arrested for writing her own prescriptions.
Jessica A. Rhodes, 27, was arrested Sunday at her Largo apartment at 10167 Sailwinds Blvd., by Pinellas County Sheriff's Office investigators.
A Target pharmacist contacted detectives Aug. 30. Pharmacy workers were suspicious about prescriptions Rhodes was bringing in weekly.
Detectives believe Rhodes forged 121 fraudulent prescriptions since April 2009. The sheriff's office said 100 of the prescriptions were for controlled substances.
Rhodes was charged with six counts of fraudulently obtaining hydrocodone and six counts of trafficking in hydrocodone.
