A Clearwater motorcyclist was injured Friday night when a car pulled in front of him, deputies said.
Gregory Conklin, 52, of 2134 Bradford St., was thrown 30 feet from his 1991 Harley-Davidson about 11:30 p.m. at Fisher and Curlew roads. He was not wearing a helmet, the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.
Conklin was in good condition tonight at St. Joseph's Hospital, a hospital spokesman said.
Investigator said a 2007 Pontiac G-5 made a U-turn in front of Conklin.
The driver, Lajune B. Castro, 60, of 2500 Winding Creek Blvd. in Clearwater, left the scene but was later found in a parking lot at U.S. 19 and Curlew Road, deputies said. Castro wasn't injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
