Tampa police say they busted a liquor store Wednesday afternoon where the prescription pill Viagra was being sold from its drive-thru window.
Police said they searched OK Liquor, 3607 N. Nebraska Ave., and recovered 43 Viagra pills and nine Cialis pills. Also seized from the store was $20,000 because it came from the illegal sales of the pills, police said.
The pills were being illegally mailed to the liquor store from Canada, police said.
Police had gotten a tip that prescription pills were being sold at the liquor store. Undercover officers made three separate purchases at the drive-thru window, paying $16 for each Viagra pill, police said.
Police arrested liquor store employee Douglas Dale Arp, 55, of Tampa. He was charged with possession of drugs without a prescription and possession of marijuana.
The store's liquor license is expected to be revoked, police said.
The case remains under investigation.
