A 78-year-old St. Petersburg woman was badly hurt when she was hit by a van Friday outside a fast-food restaurant, St. Petersburg Police said.

At 6:50 p.m., Nancy B. Livingston, 1950 Glen Lakes Circle N., had just left the Arby's at 3900 4th St. N. and was walking across the parking lot to her vehicle. A 2003 Dodge conversion van driven by Brooke R. Taborsky, 26, 2919 12th St. N., was circling the building, and the driver and Livingston didn't see each other, a report said.

The left front of the vehicle struck Livingston, knocking her down, and her head struck the ground, according to the report. She was taken to Bayfront Medical Center in life-threatening condition.

No charges have been filed, the report said.
