Media General, Inc. named Brad A. Moses president and general manager of WFLA News Channel 8 today.
Moses will return to Tampa, where he was director of marketing at WFLA from 2002 to 2007.
From 2007 to 2009, Moses was vice president and general manager of Media General's NBC affiliate in Savannah, Georgia, WSAV-TV. Since 2009, he has held the same position at WNCN-TV, Media General's NBC affiliate in Raleigh, North Carolina.

"… His leadership abilities and his knowledge of the Tampa community will be very valuable to our customers and employees."
The Savannah station won seven regional Edward R. Murrow awards for outstanding journalism and the Georgia Associated Press Broadcasters' Peacemaker award as the state's outstanding news organization under Moses' leadership.
Before joining Media General, Moses was promotion manager for WLS in Chicago and served as operations manager and director of creative services during six years at WTVG-TV in Toledo, Ohio.
Moses graduated from Bowling Green State University with a degree in communication.
Media General is a provider of news, information and entertainment, primarily in the Southeastern United States. The company has 18 network-affiliated television stations and 23 newspapers and associated websites, including The Tampa Tribune and TBO.com.
