Speaking under a banner reading "Obama Isn't Working," Romney criticized President Barack Obama for running out of ideas on how to fix the country's economy and high unemployment rate.
Moments after his appearance in Tampa this morning, Romney answered questions in a one-on-one interview.
The story of the day, of course, has to do with his tax returns. After weeks of opponents' criticism, he released them this morning.
The returns show the former governor pays an effective tax rate of 14 percent.
"We need tax reform that lowers rates for everyone," he said, "including the middle class."
Romney also discussed topics that included the troubled housing market in Florida and the higher-than-average unemployment rate in the Sunshine State.
