It's going to be a beautiful Gasparilla.
Thousands of revelers coming to the pirate fest and invasion on Saturday along Bayshore Boulevard will be treated to high temperatures in the low-to-mid 70s with a light breeze from the north.
Saturday morning, as people begin lining the parade route, temperatures should be in the mid 50s. A cold front will stall south of the Tampa Bay, so those areas might have a few lingering clouds. Along the parade route, however, skies should be mostly sunny with low humidity.
The parade begins at 2 p.m. Saturday at and Bayshore and Bay to Bay Boulevard. It continues along Bayshore to Brorein Street, turns east on Brorein, then heads north on Ashley Drive.
The event ends at Ashley and Cass Street.
