One person is dead and another injured after a two-vehicle crash in Lakeland this morning, Polk deputies said.
A Ford Mustang and an Isuzu SUV were involved in the crash just after 10 a.m. on Highway 98 South and Hancock Avenue in the area of Highland City, deputies said.
The driver of the Mustang died in the accident, deputies said.
No more information about the crash or the victims was released.
