The Florida Highway Patrol released a sketch of a woman believed to be the driver in a hit-and-run that seriously injured a bicyclist last week in New Port Richey.
Bryan Joseph Mosby, 27, was riding his bicycle on Little Road south of Rancho Del Rio Drive at 1:30 a.m. Jan. 19 when a car hit him from behind. He was seriously injured and taken to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, according to the highway patrol.
Witnesses later reported seeing the car that hit Mosby in the parking lot of a Walmart at State Road 54 and Little Road. The driver was also seen picking up a male passenger at a Hess gas station nearby.
Troopers said the woman is white, in her late 20s, and has brown hair. She was wearing blue jeans and a tan shirt. The car is a silver or gray two-door, newer model. Its windshield and front end are damaged.
Anyone with information about the case can call Trooper Evans at (813) 631-4020.
