Seminole man accused of trying to kill wife

A Seminole man has been arrested for attempted murder after he stabbed his estranged wife, Pinellas County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies say at 5:38 a.m. Sunday they responded to a call at 6272 113th St. N. in Seminole. There, they found 30-year-old Danielle Figgatt had been stabbed on the right side of the abdomen.

She was transported by ambulance to Bayfront Medical Center for treatment of possible life-threatening injuries.

According to deputies, the victim and witnesses identified the attacker as 36-year-old Jack B. Woods, 11796 86th Ave. N. They said he approached the victim outside the 113th Street home and stabbed her with an unknown object.

Woods was arrested Tuesday for attempted felony murder and violation injunction/protection from domestic violence.
