Police say a fire at an East Tampa convenience store early this morning has been ruled an arson.
According to police, the suspect burglarized the Family Super Store, 3623 N. 22nd St., around 1:15 a.m. and set it on fire to cover up the burglary.
Upon arriving, firefighters found heavy smoke coming from the roof and doors of the one-story building.
Firefighters say they got the blaze under control in about 30 minutes.
The store sustained significant damages, firefighters say.
