Christopher Leto will receive the honor of Eagle Scout this month.
The 17-year-old is a member of Troop 217 that is sponsored by St. Paul's Catholic Church. His Eagle Scout project was construction of a prayer walk and garden for the church.
Leto is a senior at Middleton Magnet High School and lives in Carrollwood with his parents, Chris and Joy.
Apart from earning the rank of Eagle Scout, Leto has also been recognized for his scuba diving and archery accomplishments.
Leto is also a member of Middleton's National Honor Society, Skills USA, the robotics team and swim team.
