EAST TAMPA - The Tampa Water Department is diverting traffic on East Sligh Avenue while it repairs a broken 30-inch water main.
The eastbound lane is closed to through traffic between North 22nd and 30th streets, the city said. Traffic is being diverted south on 22nd, east on Hanna Avenue and north on 30th to return to Sligh.
The department said the water main repairs are expected to be completed today and the road surface restored by Wednesday.
