Tampa Catholic High School's graduating class recently decided to forgo the annual field day for senior students in order to participate in the Mayor's Beautification Project.
The Class of 2009 broke into groups, joining Al Lopez Park supervisors for a day of tree-trimming, litter pick-up and shelter maintenance. Teachers who joined the group were impressed at how hard the seniors worked to get the Tampa park in shape.
